I'm not sure about slowest. But the simplest is always just getting really great products (ideally local and seasonal) and doing very little to them.

For example- some homemade sourdough bread with a local goat cheese and honey. Or local, seasonal carrots roasted and drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

LOVE the Rick Rubin quote…I tried to guess who said it before I reached the end. It’s a good one for sure! Curious if the smoked chiles are similar to Urfa which I cannot do without and use similarly…

They're different from urfa! Texture-wise they're more like red pepper flakes and they're a bit more smokey. You should get them!

I’m right with you in this. I too use the plate as my canvas. Minimizing and letting the produce shine has been my thing as of late.
