Myles, love the concept of constraint breeding creativity. Certainly has been a huge influence on the way I have cooked over the last year.
For some light watching, the new(ish?) show Chefs vs. Wild is a pretty cool look into this idea in action. Think Chopped (or Knife Fight, for those in the know), but with two chefs paired with survivalists and dropped in the Vancouver wilderness, needing to forage for wild edibles to compete the meals at the end of 4 days. Interesting twist on traditional cooking TV, and definitely got me inspired to think more creatively about what is around me.
